It's well know that earthquake bring large damage to people's lives and property, so it is important to research the reliability of astigmatic structure .In order to evaluate the reliability during the whole earthquake process, the time-history reliability should be calculated, which needs not only the structural deformation, but also much iterative computation. So the efficiency of the computational model is essential to the method .The process of negative stillness is an important and special process of structure analysis. In consideration of the above reasons, story restoring-force model with negative stillness is selected as the computational model.The randomicity of the structure parameters should be considered in the reliability analysis; it will lead to the ramdomicity of the restoring-force model. In this paper a proximate method is studied through elasto-plastic load increment analysis for random structure. In Order to examine the accuracy of the method, a simulation sampling method is presented and the distribution of the parameters is checked up as well. It will provide reference for the selection of parameter and definition of the distribution.
