The Thoughtway And Rules Of The Hilly Country Building

Human being has researched how to make use of hilly country and how to build in hilly country widely in order to continue development. According to the practice of these years, there are both achievements and demerits. Many good architectures have been built in some districts. But there are still some buildings which were designed badly and were not corresponded with even destroyed surroundings.All kinds of date showed that there was no exact rules and laws about hilly architecture designing. At the same time, it is not easy to find a exact theory on the designing because each place is not same in the hilly country. The author's hometown-Panzhihua city is a typical hilly country. Because of impertinence developing in the early period, the zoology of the city was destroyed. This paper is based on the practice of the building in the city. Some rules are given in the paper on analyzing the building of the city. The paper includes four parts.In the introduce, the necessity and feasibility are discussed. And the means and the meanings of the paper are given.In the second part, geology, landform, climate, hydrology, plants etc. are discussed. And their influence on the architecture is analyzed.In the third part, different forms of the building in different place is discussed. At the same time, many examples are given to show how to design in the hilly country.In the forth part, based on the designing of the Fenghuang district, the laws ofthe forms designing is analyzed.At last, the laws of the designing in the hilly country is summarized.
