New LED Light-source Of Automobile

Incandescence light as a kind of light-source has been used for a century. The defects of incandescence light, for example low light efficiency, high energy consume, short life-span and difficult to control, make people look for a new kind of light-source to replace it.LED is a kind of semiconductor light part, its development last for a long time, but it isn't used in different fields as a light-source. It is only used as indicator light because its low brightness can't reach the level of lighting and signal light-source. Brightness and efficiency of LED is higher and higher with the development of LED technology. It is the base of studying a new kind of LED light and signal light source. LED has a long life-span, low energy consume, low quality of heat and short response time, so studying a new kind of light source is very significant. In the paper discusses the development of light-source in automobile, and analyzes the feasibility of replacing traditional tight-source by LED because of the defects of traditional light-source. Considering drive circuit of LED, in order to make the light-source informational, add some serial communication signal in it. The new kind of light-source is studied significantly in theory and practice.The paper discusses the feasibility and necessary of replacing the traditional tight-source with LED in testing from its development Through measuring different parameters, then choose the appropriate LED and consider different factors to design drive circuit and LED lattice circuit.Designing drive circuit of LED is the key of informational light-source. First design the constant current circuit of new light-source, and then use SCM AT89C51 to control LED light-source through its serial port The RXD port is connected with light-sensor which signal input AT89C51, then AT89C51 deals with the signal and outputs other control information. SCM's program is designed by C language or assembles language. In the future computer will be used in automobile widely, so computer will replace SCM to control LED light-source. In this paper designs program to simulate light-source communication. The program is finished by C#, and it is only used between two computers.The study of new informational light-source provide new development realm. With the development of LED technology, the new kind of light-source will replace traditional tight-source. It not only saves energy and increases life-span, but also makes automobile informational and makes the traffic accident less and less.
