In recent years, power quality has become a problem which attracts the concern in many field. the detection, identification and actions taken decided by the corresponding disturbance are the precondition of power quality improvement, of great importance. We will talk mainly about identification of power system disturbance, and we originate a method using dq transform and Prony Analysis to realize the identification of power system disturbance and calculate the parameters of each disturbance. We deal with some kinds of disturbances: interrupt, swell, sag, impulse, phase step, low frequency oscillation, high frequency oscillation, frequency deviation, harmonics, noise in this thesis according to the effect and frequency of these disturbances. We demonstrate its feasibility by means of program simulation, and get quite ideal result. Then make a primary design of the device according to this method.
