The voltage signal transmitting loop of the power systems includes the voltagetransformer and its secondary circuit. Its errors are superposed by the two parts mentionedabove. The errors of the voltage transformer are combined with no-load and loading errors, which is independent of the secondary circuit voltage-drop. The key to improve measurementprecision of voltage transmitting loop is to synthetically compensate the three errors which areinter-independent and possess distinct characters. The paper derivates gain self-adaptive modeland establishes its mathematical model and designs its controller. It compensates the loadingerror of voltage transformer on the basis of current tracking plan and adopts similarity theoryto offset no-load error of voltage transformer by directly abstracting no-load voltage. Thethree errors are combined one compensation quantity and disposed by a synthetic errorscompensator done in the paper. On the basis of actually operational need, overvoltage andovercurrent protections are designed. The aim is to protect natural operation of thecompensator. The compensator is right and effective by experiments.
