At the present time, with the development of the configuration analysis, architecture materials and building technology, CFST arch bridges' span becomes greater and greater. Because of it's mechanical capability and convenience in building,CFST arch bridges are exerted largely on the span of 200m.But its own characters make the instability in building. So it is necessary to control it strictly. At the present time, the way of building CFST arch bridges is being suspended by cables .So we can use the Kalman filter, which is used greatly in Cable Stayed bridges, to control CFST arch bridges' rib shape because it's building process likes what of Cable Stayed bridges'. It's reported someone had tried to do it, but not very perfectly. CFST arch bridges' rigidity is much lower than Cable Stayed bridges. This will make much great windage and must take into account all the effects synthetically and systemicly. This thesis contains these contents of the control of CFST arch bridges' rib shape mainly:1. Based on the No.3 bridge of Jiang Han, it analyses the effects, which may decide the rib shape, such as the effect of crosspiece on the rib,the plane excursion of the tower, the cable's non-linear problem made by gravity, the elongation of cable and so on.2. At the same time, the paper also discusses how to cut down the windage made by these effects.3. Cocluding the stess in the cables and the displacement of the rib's top.4. After observating the windage between the design and the practice,we can adjust the cable's strain in construction to make the main arch coincide with the supposed axis.
