The paper mainly deals with the present state of frame-supported wall-beam at home and abroad. On the basis of the research results of the tests, the paper makes a finite-element analysis of 16 frame-supported wall-beam formed by different two-spans, different heights of walls, different heights of beams, different door positions and different door sizes under the elastic states by the vertical average load. Furthermore, according to the finite-element analysis results, the paper makes a systematic analysis of the internal force performance and the stress characteristics of frame-supported wall-beams. Adopting the object analysis method, the paper also analyses the different degrees influenced by different factors and lays a foundation for the establishment of the subsequent formulas. In the meantime, in the light of the regular patterns of stress and the basic theories of mechanics we can draw a conclusion of the regular patterns of stress, bending moments of supporting-base sections , axial stress and bending moments of the middle section. On the basis of the same mass areas of steel, we convert the bending moments and axial stress into bending moments under bending state. Then using the program of SLOVER we can calculate the stress under the vertical load of the corresponding frames and get a coefficient. In addition, we can get a formula by adopting the program of MATLAB, that is the formula of wall-beam. By analyzing an engineering project this paper sums up the advantages and disadvantages of this formula.
