In this paper, the stability analysis and quench property of TF (Toroidal Field) and PF (Poloidal Field) superconducting magnets of HT-7U have been conducted by using the revised 1-fluid code GANDALF. Two simplified models have been created for QUELL and HT-7U facilities and compared with experimental data. Three kinds of CICC for SC BUS-LINES have been also analyzed and compared with each other. The finite element code GANDALF is the numerical implementation of a 1-dimensional model for thermal-hydraulic, quench and stability analysis of CICC conductors. A detailed validation of the code with stability experiments has qualified GANDALF as a reliable engineering tool for the design of magnet using CICC conductors. Through revision, 3-dimensional thermal analysis in the superconducting magnet was developed from 1-dimensional one. The stability margin of TF and PF conductors is computed for a number of disturbance scenarios. And a careful thermal-hydraulic analysis of these cables is made. In many practical situations the steady state and transient response of the cryogenic system strongly affects the behavior of the magnet, in turn transient conditions in the magnet also affects the whole cryogenic system. A self-consistent simulation without any free parameters can be achieved to model the whole system, which can extent the predictive capability of the model. Two simplified models of the cryogenic system of the actual equipments (QUELL and HT-7U) was presented and validated against experimental data. The current feeder system consisting of superconducting (SC) bus-lines, SC bus-line interface terminal, and current leads is used as the current transmission system of the HT-7U SC coils. The function of the current feeder system is to transfer a large amount of current from power supply to the coils without energy consumption. The current feeder system needs much more excellent stability and safety, when the...
