Three major automobile brands of Germany -Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Volkswagen, known by Chinese consumer and liked, are the world-famous automobile brands with a long history, also are those of the foreign brands first entering the Chinese automobile market. Their development courses, and the courses of their form evolvement, have important and directive significance to the Chinese automobile industry at developing strategy and automobile design of the national brands of China under the new historical condition.The main research object of this article is exactly the courses of Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen automobile form evolvement and those promotive factors among the courses. Through this research, we can find general characteristic rule and specific factor for automobile morphological analysis in future, which also can offer a kind of automobile form analytical method that can be used. In addition, the most important is to find out the development direction and the rule, which may be profit from, for our country automobile industry development and automobile design of Chinese national brand. And it is the innovation point of this article.Those proposed first in this article are the automobile form research method and step, namely with the analysis principle of morphology graphology, to resolve the automobile shape, and draw characteristic line, then through vertical and horizontal analysis and research again. It is the main research method of this article.The research of the automobile form evolvement of three major automobiles brand in Germany follows this principle and method, and then we can get the automobile evolvement traces and curves of three major automobile brands of Germany. However, the automobile shape evolution is not only about morphology research, it is also influenced by the facts of the society, politics, economy and culture, which make it develop constantly.Through this research, we can draw a conclusion from the automobile form evolvement of three major automobile brands of Germany and enlightenment from Chinese national brand development, that the Chinese automobile industry should draw lessons from the continue tactics of automobile morphology characters of three major German automobile brand, and the development courses of corporate cultures which base on these characteristics, then come into the national brand automobile culture with Chinese culture characteristic.
