Along with the development of R.C. structure design theory and improving requirement in structures, the conception of R.C. jointless superlong Structures was brought forward recently. Differing from normal R.C. structures, there was an important issues in the jointless design of R.C. superlong structure. That was how to solve the aseismatic analysis of R.C. superlong structures. Owing to the length of R.C. jointless superlong Structures, we must consider the traveling wave effect during the aseismatic analysis. Because, from one point to another point of the site, there was not only phasic difference of earthquake, but also many other varieties, considering uniform excitation in every point is even correct for normal structures, but for superlong structures, then time-history analysis based on the same seismic input is not reasonable. In this paper, we will discuss the effect of non-uniform excitation on structure dynamic responses. In this paper, the author used ANSYS, a FEM analysis software, to achieve the aseismatic analysis of R.C. superlong structures subjected to uniform and non-uniform excitation. In these analysis, elasticity and plastic material were considered separately. Finally, the author gave some pieces of advice about the design of jointless R.C. superlong structure.
