Multimedia Application For Submersible Axial-Flow Pump

Submersible axial-flow Pump, as a submersible pump, which is combined with a motor, is a special machine that is submerged to transport liquid. It is extensively applied to all the fields in national economy. However, as the poor working circumstance, and we cannot monitor it straightly when it works, it is hard to maintain it. and the training program for the maintenance man must be long-term and systemic. The multimedia technique is to use computer and other electronical ways to transfer the combining of texts, figures, pictures, and video information. The three-dimension (3D) animation and on-line monitor technology in multimedia can set vivid digital scene, which can got a better and more intuitionist effect compared to the simple instrument measuring. Applying multimedia technology to pump will improve the pump system to a great extent and have a high practicality. However, in the field of pump at present, this technology growth so slowly and there is few documents about this both here and abroad. Then, there was still a lot of work to do.For the reason mentioned above, this paper analyses the structure characteristic of the submersible axial-flow pump and researched lots of knowledge about multimedia and graphics; Take the case of an axial pump, present a new approach of developing application for submersible axial-flow pump by multimedia; Explore a relativity intergraded multimedia application system; and in this system it set a instruction about submersible axial-flow pump, about construct, assembling and disassembly it with a sub-module about fault maintenance. This project adopts the basic platform with visual C++ system, instructing for the troubles in practical application by three-dimension animation technology. It can dynamic simulates the submersible axial-flow pump about displaying of function, assembling and disassembly, maintaining, and working process intuitionist, it can be used for training, fixing direction, maintaining etc. The maintenance man can get a straight and profound comprehension about the working circs and troubles of the submersible axial-flow pump by using it. The application can improve the responding velocity of the operators, relive their working intensions, and upgrade the working efficiency and professional skill. Thus enhance the reliability of the pump, which bring a great advance when it works.
