The specific background of the task is to provide dynamic compensation about the reactive power for the electric arc stove in the steel-making plant, reaching the purpose to improve dynamically the power factor of the electricity net for the user. The specific assignment of the task is to provide control system for the equipment about reactive power compensation, to ensure the system run steadily and reliably.In the paper, after the analysis about the electric arc stove's working character and the equipment about reactive power compensation-TCR+RC, the mathematic model is established and analyzed. On second thoughts, the control strategy about the fuzzy closed loop control combining part open loop is designed.Then based on the groundwork, the control and watching system using the core of the DSP and CPLD is designed, and the whole control flow is analyzed. The specific realization of the DSP program process is expatiated emphasizedly.All the interrupt and primary subprogram is explained in detail. The DSP program uses the C language as the main body, and uses the assemble language to program the core algorithm, improving the developing efficiency and run speed.At last the task has designed a minimum system test, and validated elementarily correctness of control system based DSP and CPLD about the effect of the compensation about the reactive power.
