Mixed-convection heat transfer in opened-ended cavity is a basically physical phenomenon. Many technical problems can be solved through studying this basic problem. In this paper, the physical principal is studied and the dominated equations are deduced. In order to study this problem profoundly, the similar principal is introduced. By changing the Reynolds number, Grashof number and the aspect number, a great deal simulation are made for some basically physical models. By studying the streamlines, the isotherms and the temperature and velocity profiles at the aperture plane of the open-ended cavity, the conclusion is gained that the parameter that controls the isotherms and the streamlines mostly is Richard number...
