The UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicles) system is a complicated control system of man-in-the-loop. It's very important for the commander and operator of the UAV ground control system (GCS) to be familiar with and understand the mission planning of UAV, to be proficient in control and manipulate the UAV to maximize the UAV system's efficiency. The UAV mission rehearsal can simulate the process of UAV mission control and task perform to the life, it provides an suppositional task environment to people in UAV GCS to familiar with and understand the UAV mission and to operate UAV skillfully. In this paper, we will give a fully study of the system technology and simulation modeling of the UAV mission rehearsal through the process of design and realize the practical UAV mission rehearsal system.Firstly, this paper analyzes the function and project requirement that a UAV mission rehearsal system should be achieved based on the point of actual UAV control system, and puts forward overall architecture of simulation system.Secondly, from the angle of distributed real-time simulation, after analyzing HLA real-time performance in-depth, simulation integration architecture will be designed based on HLA (High Level Architecture). Considering the characteristic of the UAV mission rehearsal system, we design a special way of integration with different time step to realize interlink of the simulation system.Thirdly, the entity modeling method is researched in the paper. According to the UAV independent control structure and multiplayer simulation, we think that UAV simulation can be divided into two parts, task level simulation and entity level simulation. We first discuss and establish the simulation model of the UAV mission management process. Then we give a deep description of the simulation models of UAV entity and Target entity based on object-oriented technique and CGF (computer generated forces) modeling technique. The UAV physical models include model of dynamics and kinematics, model of radar electromagnetic wave reflection, the CGF Target models include model of dynamics, model of detector and model of behavior.Then this paper establishes the federation object model (FOM) of the UAV mission rehearsal in details and briefly introduces the implement of simulation system based on HLA.Finally, a simulation experiment is provided to prove the UAV mission rehearsal simulation structure and time performance.
