Catalytic technology has been applied popularly because it can decrease exhaust pollution. Power and economy of engine will be impacted with pressure loss in catalytic converter .In fact,resistance properties have great impact on its applications.It needs general consideration to reduce the resistance in catalytic converter.It needs high quality catalytic converter and matching technology for meeting low exhaust need,so,matching technology is the key point in using catalytic converter.The problem has been studied less in all of the world,the matching problem should be considered again,because this problem is neglected in designing car. In this paper,flow resistance in Three-Way-Catalytic (TWC) converts,combustion and infectants character in engine with TWC have been simulated.And the same time, Some significative conclusions have been gotten:Combustion efficiency will decline by adding three-way catalytic converters. Exhaust component will change by adding three-way catalytic converters.Combustion temperature in cylinder will decrease with increasing exit pressure.The quantity of CO2 and NOX will reduce with increasing exit pressure .So it needs comprehensive consideration to design catalytic convert. The results would play an important role for further research of catalytic converters for CNG vehicles and engine.At the same time,the study results in this paper will be used for reference in studying gasoline and diesel vehicles.It has notable economy,society and environment benefit and it is useful for popularization of exhaust control technology.
