Multi-function concrete hollow block is a kind of concrete hollow blocks for bearing loads, insulating heat, decoration. The whole block transfers vertical force and insulate heat by blind holes arrayed double lines and staggered holes .The product is in line with national sustainable development strategy and building estate commercialization tendency. It is a new wall material of saving energy with great developing and spreading potentialities. According to data from experiment in this paper, multi-function concrete hollow block is studied on block type, physical property, mechanical property, and numerical simulation. Conclusion as following: Grey evaluation of comprehensive factor of mechanical behavior, insulating heat and economy about among Multi-function concrete hollow block and normal small concrete block and Beijing three combined into one block is made. It was find that the comprehensive property of multi-function concrete hollow block is best. Physical property of multi-function concrete hollow block such as density of block, percentage of hollow filament, water ratio, water absorption, coefficient of softening and frost-resisting factor all reach (or exceed) set correlative standard of nation. Because compression and bending strength of multi-function concrete hollow block is strong, its masonry compression strength, shearing strength and eccentric of out of the plane is much higher. It shows a tendency to safety if use masonry design specification code in effect to design multi-function concrete hollow block masonry. In this paper, non-stable concept of thin slab of hollow block masonry is drawn into, and calculating formula of eccentric compression supporting of multi-function concrete hollow block masonry is revised. This can provide reference for design calculating of eccentric compression bearing capacity of multi-function concrete hollow block masonry. Experiment's result and numerical simulation make known that only increasing hole-lines and staggered hole cannot attain to improve pyropprocessing. Study on improving masonry pyropprocessing property pays more attention on economical efficient composite insulation material and improvement of pyropprocessing property of material itself.
