"On-line Verifying and Analysis System for Relay Setting of Subtransmission Systems"is realized in this paper. In the system, the knowledge representation and topological analytical methods are studied which are suitable for the characters and states in the subtransmission systems, then matching relation between relay protections is found and short circuit current and branch coefficients are determined, at last, according to the regulations, reserve protection of 220KV transformer are verified and the results and some explanations of the unreasonable fixed values of the verification can be outputted. In addition, the Agent and the Agent System are discussed initially in this paper. A monitoring and control Agent for system running is compiled according to the requirements and is used to the running environment as well. The Agent can make the best response------testing them automatically again or waiting the user to interfere according to the specific circumstance.
