With the development of automobile industry, more and more demands tovehicle safety capability are taken into account. Traction control system are widelyequipped in all kinds of vehicles. It can prevent the driven wheels from slip duringauto accelerates especially when auto starts,accelerates or cornering, which canimprove vehicle stability,handling and acceleration.TCS is a new active safety control system which was developed in the middle of80's, which gets the optimum longitudinal traction by controlling vehicle driving slipratio. It is based on the principle that maintaining the driving slip ratio value roundthe optimum slip ratio so that traction can not only be fully used but also the lateralstable potentiality is guaranteed.Based on the abroad achievements in this field, the dissertations developed ofdynamics simulation software; come up with the calculation algorithms of vehiclespeed for four drive vehicle and bring forward road identification; design the NN_PIcontroller; also validate the algorithms with Matlab/Simulink and hardware in theloop.1.
