This paper uses reliability engineering theory and method to study reliability and safty of railway signal devices, based on micro-computer-automatic block between railway stations system which integrates the micro-computer block between railway stations and the existing axle counting technique. The process method has special reference to the research and improvement of the similar systems.The main purpose of this paper is study the method of reliability design and analysis of railway signal device system. Based on function requirement and technique norm, it employs fault-tolerant technique to design system scheme, analyzing and validating the reliability of the system, distributing reliability and availability of the system. Then, fault mode, effect and criticalty analysis (FECA) and fault tree analysis (FTA) are utilized to handle microscopic qualitative and quatitative analysis of the system. In the course of analysis of the system, weakness tche is brought forward. It provides instruction value to the reliability design and further improvement of the system. In the end, this paper designs and analyzes the reliability of the communications part being in a certain conditions.Main achievement of the thesis:1, Reliability analysis of several redundant schemes;2, Distributing reliability and availability of railway signal devices;3, Application of failure tree analysis method;4, Reliability design method of improvement of communications part.Although this paper carrys on the reliability research of systems by the micro-computer-automatic block between railway stations system, this research method is applied to other railway signal device systems and similar systems.
