The no-duct inductive ventilation system originate from the duct spray nozzle inductive ventilation and air conditioning system, which was advanced by Swedish ABB Company in 1974 and named as DIRVENT SYSTEM. In 1999, its branch company in Japan, FLAKE company, developed the third system, T0PVENT2 SYSTEM, which was introduced and marketed into China in 2000. TOPVENT2 SYSTEM, as a new-type airing manner, has obvious superiority than traditional ventilation system of the underground parking, and was applied in many parts of the country. Since TOPVENT2 SYSTEM marched into China market only few years, there are many engineering examples, but no matter design method or ventilation effectiveness is lack of theoretic proof.This paper adopts the theory of Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) to first make numeral simulation analyses of the air distribution for an underground park in Chengdu where TOPVENT2 SYSTEM is adopted in this paper. The simulations on basis of the k- ε two-equation turbulent model which is widely used in engineering, were made by the method of control cubage . Discrete equation solved systems with the SIMPLE algorithm, and drew the velocity and the CO density distributions in the underground park. In these test examples, in order to find the factors which can improve the ventilation effectiveness, to summarize the general realized method for the design and operation, writer varied the relative position between air-feeding ventilator and air-exhausting ventilator; adjusted the outlet angle of discharge jet; issued the interact of airflows caused by the differential pressure between air-feeding ventilator and air-exhausting ventilator or caused by discharge jet. Based on these results, write pointed out two improved design plans and analyses them using CFD method samely. The velocity field and the CO density field distributions for two improved systems, proved that the no-duct inductive ventilation system in ventilation system of the underground park has wonderful effectiveness.
