Railway signaling is a basic equipment of railway traffic system. It is a safe-critical system, and plays the important role in the traffic system. We can increase the railway transport efficiency, and improve the work environment effectively by using it. Improving the railway signaling system is very important for realizing the railway traffic modernization.System modeling and analysis are very important parts of system design. For a long time, many scholars are studying more effective methods for describing the facts exactly and simplifying analysis. Some characteristics can be attained by analyzing the models, which establish the theory basis. Railway signaling system is a type of the discrete event dynamic system. In this paper, the author introduces the methods of the discrete event dynamic system, builds model of the computer-based automatic inter-station block system with Petri nets, analyzes the dynamic performances with invariant, and makes conclusion that analyzing the railway signaling system with Petri nets is feasible.The paper includes introduction, Petri nets theory and object-oriented technology, the model of the computer-based automatic inter-station block system, the evaluation of system performance, and conclusions. The paper mainly studies such contents as fellow. The author builds the system model with object-oriented Petri net. The model includes six class subnets, which are signal class, section class, train class, block class, axle counting class, and communication class. The author describes the relation of object class and analyzes the dynamic performances with invariant.
