Data Acquisition IED Design On The Process Level Of Traction Substation Based On IEC61850

The fast development of communication technology and microelectronics technique has caused the renewal of the integrated automation system of substation. The current interface and communication mode of the primary equipment in substation with substation automation system has already become the bottleneck of the development. IEC61850 is the latest communication system of substation automation, and it represents the developing direction and trend of the communication of the substation automation based on the unification of communication network system of the substation. With the presentation of IEC61850, many functions of substation automation system are transferred to process layer to be accomplished, which makes the structure of process layer more complicated and the structure and operation mode of the primary equipment in substation facing the enormous change too. The intelligent electronics equipment of process layer is the key equipment of substation automation system. The current and voltage transformers are important equipments in substation. The new-type current transformer (optical-electric current transformer) will be used widely in the integrated automation system of substation.This paper has introduced the operation principle and the latest development trend of the voltage and current transformer, and has analyzed the operation principle of new-type current transformer based on Rogowski Loop in detail.
