Reactive power optimization in electric power system is important part for electric power safe run research. Ensure Reasonable reactive power compensatory point and capacity, it can be maintained systemic voltage level and improved systemic voltage stability, consequently decrease loss of system. In this thesis, based on before study, made reactive compensated from distribution system, then compensate mid voltage system, finally compensate high voltage. Include primarily below a few aspects: â‘ The analysis of distribution system's reactive compensatory; â‘¡When load distributing is symmetrical and asymmetrical on 10kV line, Optimized reactive power compensatory point and capacity;â‘¢Application Genetic Algorithm, with the system loss is minimum and voltage qualified rate is tallest for the target, ascertain optimized compensatory capacity of system, and a application program is developed. This program is applied to an engineering project on the reactive power optimization sponsored by Changji 220kV Power Utility and the optimization results indicate that program presented in this thesis is feasible.
