| Steel fiber reinforced concrete is a new kind of composite that is mixed with appropriate steel fibers to the common concrete and can pour and spray forming. People are paying attention to the steel fiber reinforced concrete increasingly because of its good mechanical performance, and it is getting to expand the application gradually, such as civil engineering, water conservancy, construction engineering, etc.Laboratorial experiments are conducted for steel fiber reinforced concrete in which the volume percentage of steel fibers Ïf are 0% , 1.0 %, 1.5% , 2.0% respectively for getting the results as to the relationships between the volume percentage of steel fibers and compressive strength, split-tensile strength, flexural strength, elastic modulus, and the relations between age and strength, elastic modulus of steel fiber reinforced concrete are also discussed. The various mechanics properties of the steel fiber reinforced concrete are explained and analyzed quantificationally according to the experimental results. Numerical models of the common concrete and steel fiber reinforced concrete were built up by the Material Failure Process Analysis (MFPA2D) . The numerical simulation reproduced the failure process of theirs in uniaxial compressive. Moreover, the parameters of the MFPA2D numerical test were confirmed based on the mechanics experiment of the steel fiber reinforced concrete. The simulation results indicate that aggregate and steel fiber in the concrete can restrain the unit failure, and the steel fiber restrain the propagation of the interior crack and the initiation and propagation of macroscopic crack so that the mechanics parameters of the steel fiber reinforced concrete such as tensile strength, flexural strength and elastic modulus etc. are reinforced than the common concrete. The influence of steel fiber to the concrete strength is primarily related to the strength grades... |
