The kinematics characteristic of enclosed combination mechanism is studied by the software of ADAMS .The traditional kinematics and dynamics analysis of mechanism, especially complicated enclosed combination mechanism is tedious and includes a great deal of repetition works. The kinematics, the dynamics analysis of most of the mechanism, specially the mechanism of defined size, ADAMS can simulate and solve them quickly and accurately. ADAMS can also solve the repetitious analysis, such as the track problem of different position on a component quickly. Moreover ADAMS also provides the parameterize function to modify the size of the component conveniently. As a branch of combination mechanism, enclosed combination mechanism is fabricated specially, and can execute complicated kinematics and dynamics characteristic, such as converse, accelerate, decelerate, go forward, fall back, and increasing force, extend the distance range. It is important to study the enclosed combination mechanism. This paper verifies the analysis result of a kind of particular sized wheel gear and link enclosed combination mechanism by the simulation result data, and also verified the accuracy of the software of ADAMS. According to the result of design of experiment of ADAMS, the relation of the optimize target and size of the mechanism components is obtained.A cam—link enclosed combination mechanism that can carry out particular track is studied in the fifth charter, the automatic design of the track of points on different position relative to the link is studied by implication of the customized design unit of ADAMS, which can replace the function of all kinds of mechanism atlas. The simulation result data can be further processed by customized design macro.
