| The "ethnic culture theme park" defined in this thesis is a hybrid form of park that combines modern theme park with modern ethnic culture tour. In other words, it is a modern park style with ethnic culture as its theme. It is a kind of theme landscape > that reflects the refinement and integration of the ethnic culture of an ethnic community or of a certain area or of a particular period of time according to a certain method, aiming to meet both the requirement of the tourists and the commercial purposes of the developers.At present, China's landscape research and education is still at an early stage that expects a prosperous development. Therefore, it is important and urgent to have landscape design researches from different angles. With the project "newly-built villages in Yunnan Ethnic Villages" as an example and based on the preceding research and analysis of primordial landscape related to the project, this paper makes a study on those aspects involved in park landscape design, such as, landscape design method, overall landscape planning, landscape space construction way, landscape building and environment design, etc. Considering the current condition that the ethnic culture tourism is developing fast while the ethnic culture relics is vanishing, the author tries to explore a design method of ethnic culture theme park which can bring about both marketing and capitalization of ethnic culture.The thesis is divided into five parts: the first chapter puts forward the "ethnic culture theme park" defined in this paper and the concept and content of its landscape. The second chapter discusses the connection between the capitalization of ethnic culture and ethnic culture theme park landscape design, as well as the background of the project and the related ethnic culture and primordial environment. After that comes the third chapter that talks about the features of ethnic culture theme park landscape design. In the fourth chapter, the overall planning and layout principle of the project "newly-built villages in Yunnan Ethnic Villages" is presented. The last chapter, chapter five focuses on the landscape building andenvironment design of the "newly-built villages in Yunnan Ethnic Villages". |
