The sealing pipeline joint structure with double-cone pipe union had been used to join minitype high pressure air pipelines for many years in lab, which had no integrated and mature theoretic design method. On the basis of researching sealing pipeline joint structures with double-cone pipe union in depth, this paper used the method of Robust Design, synthesized the mainly factors such as geometrical sizes of components, mechanical property of material, surface roughness of components, axial preloading force, fit clearance, taper and the difference of taper etc., and obtained a set of design rational parameters.First of all, this paper obtained the seal condition of double-cone pipe union after analyzing the basic conditions of metal-seal, which was the precondition for FEM numerical experiment and ensured sealed system no leak, and the axial preloading force had been used to judge the sealed systems.In the course of robust design, FEM was utilized to analyze the influence of the design parameters of the double-cone pipe union on the performance of sealing pipeline and obtained the numeric area of each influential factors. Then, on the basis of FEM numerical experiment and using the orthogonal polynomials, the models of response surface were fitted, which reflected the influence of the mainly factors of sealing pipeline joint structures with double-cone pipe union to axial preloading force. Meanwhile, the structural geometrical model was established to reflect the influence of taper and the difference of taper to the size and assembly of the sealing pipeline joint structures with double-cone pipe union. Then, the paper obtained a set of design rational parameters of sealing pipeline joint structures with double-cone pipe union, according to the optimization methods for multiple-objective, FEM was used to validate the inside pressure could be loaded in the optimized structures.At last, the dissertation was summarized and the research to be continued was prospected.
