The Settlement Analysis Of Soft Clay Foundation In Seasonly Frozen Area

Soft foundation reinforcement is a very common problem in the construction works, but there are still many processing measures. Combining with the character of the seasonally frozen areas, this paper studied the behavior of soft soil improved by the powder sprayed piles and sand compaction piles through a real work. To make the complex strain and stress of the soft clay foundation easier, inland and abroad scholars found a lot calculating measures, several is included in this paper. Discussed the geofabric(or geogrid)'s function, it plays an important role in enhancing the embankment's mass property and monolithic stability. The technique of construction of the powder sprayed piles and sand compaction piles in the project are also presented. Carrying out the observation of the embankment's to collect useful data, through this way it can help keep the embankment away from the danger of instability collapse. The observation including settlement and aging resistance two aspects, at last using these data to analyze and compare the effect of the two processing measures, then finding the most suitable one.It is proved that both powder sprayed piles and the compaction sand piles are all effective, can meet the construction work's need. Moreover they have their own advantages. In one word, both are ideal treatment measures.
