Discuss And Practice Of The Design Theory In Construction Pit Engineering

Along with the development of construction of buildings and municipal facilities in cities of China at top speed the number of projects with deep foundation pits has been in creasing rapidly during the past decade and odd years and an extremely great wealth of experience has been accumulated.In this paper, first ,the status quo of the main aspects of design, excavation and supporting of foundation pits in China are described ,some accidents in construction foundation pit are analyzed ,which great attention should be paid to prevent possible trouble in foundation pit excavation. Secondly, variety of retain construction and shoring system ,which depend on varied geographical conditions and influential factors, are selected to satisfy require of the engineering. By using design of the construction and calculation, economic, rational, practical design of the construction and excavation of foundation pit are given .The technical steps of excavation program are discussed in detail. Finally, it is noted that the development of construction and excavation of foundation pit have brought about such new subjects , such as combination of foundation design with the principle of time-space effect, application of information construction, design theory and method of foundation pit consolidation and specific construction method and application research as well as the reinforce of the foundation of the structures adjacent to the pit,which need to be developed and perfected unceasingly in the future application.
