Research On Design And Application Of CFG Pile Compound Foundation

This paper is based on summarization of correlative documentations, and centers on design and application of CFG in soft foundation treatment. Fundamentals and methods of compound foundation are analyzed, and its construction techniques are discussed concerning the technical and economic merits of CFG pile in treating soft foundation.On the basis of summarizing design and construction practice of compound foundation, this paper puts forward an optimized method of compound foundation design. Centered on technical economy, design schemes of compound foundation are discussed, bearing capacity and deformation properties are analyzed, and meanwhile various factors influencing compound foundation are analyzed in details and such object matters as design, construction techniques and quality control of CFG compound foundation are discussed.This paper deals with how to choose pile patterns in compound foundations, of which CFG pile compound foundation is a typical example. Great details are discussed about material of CFG pile, bearing capacity and defonnation properties of compound foundations, bearing capacity and deformation computation of CFG pile compound foundation, construction methods of CFG pile, etc. In the practical case of " Tank reforming period VI of the Qingdao Port Authority", in which this foundation type is applied in the foundation treatment of four 50000t oil tanks in Area C, the technical and economic merits of the foundation type are analyzed.Meanwhile, this paper compares and analyzed optimized methods of various design schemes of compound foundation. With the requirements of peripheral environment on foundation treatment taken into consideration, an optimized scheme design is put forward, and CFG pile compound foundation is analyzed and studied at full length.In the end, it discusses combination application of foundation treatment methods and puts forward a method of evaluating rationality of design scheme of foundation treatment.
