Today, with the increase of retaining automobile, people's demands on automobile are higher. The diversified trait, such as security,environmental protection,intelligent,comfort and amusement etc, make the development of automobile technology towards digitization and information. Accordingly the requirement on control, communication, and net become more and more complex. The traditional point-to-point data transmission method can't meet this any more. Basing on the computer net and fieldwork control technology, specially developed for the data transmission in automobile, automobile data line to realize the data share between ECUs in automobile. Because those data bus need special data lines, and the ECUs in automobile have different requirement on data transmission, several data nets are needed in one automobile. This decreases the lines in automobile at the same time increase data lines. This certainly will increase the cost and difficulty to manufacture and maintenance of automobile. So in this research we will use the principle of carrier communication to the data transmission in automobile. We try to realize data share between ECUs in automobile without increasing wiring. In this paper, the research object are line carrier communication system in automobile. The researching contents are in the following: (1) Analyzing the merit and demerit of adopting power line carrier communication and the possible implement way, and analyzing all the problems that needed to solve for realizing automobile carrier communication. (2) Analyzing the producing mechanic, behaving form and the possible damages to the automobile carrier system of electromagnetism interferences in automobile. (3) Analyzing the principle of automobile carrier communication, put forwards the principle model for this system. Analyzing the channel characters of automobile carrier communication. (4) Realizing the part application of line carrier communication in automobile, designing the line carrier control system based on DTMF coding, and this system is used to control the automobile lighting system. In one word, based on principle research, this research realizes the power line carrier communication in automobile. It provides a new information transmission method for automobile.
