The fatigue of grid structure with bolt-sphere joints is mainly the fatigue of high-strength bolt. Nowadays, the research of its fatigue performance is mainly based on fatigue test home and abroad. A few of studies on its life estimation are proceeded .In this paper, the five specifications high-strength bolt used wildly of M14, M20 , M24, M30, M33 are studied. Based on analysis of its constant and variable amplitude fatigue test date, we got its S-N curve and allowable design fatigue limit. By means of hot-spot method we analyze the root of screw of high-strength bolt. Besides, on the basis of analysis above, amendment Miner ruler and mechanics of fracture respectively are adopted to study its fatigue life estimation .The results indicate theoretic results and test data are well fit to each other.The research results in the paper make up for the shortage of the theoretic studies on fatigue performance of grid structure with bolt-sphere joints and the fatigue research method is perfected. The research results also will supply some references for the modification of 《Specification for design and construction of gridstructure》 .
