The Research On Mechanism Of Treatments Between Old And New Embankment's And Road Surface's Junction Plane

Through lots of survey about "old and new embankment widening problems" in the world, I'm familiar with and compare the theories and methods of the widening problems in research, and by surveying many projects in site, I sum up the usual risks of embankment widening and analyze the mechanism. It is indicated that we should give comprehensive treatments to the widening problems by taking groundwork, embankment and road surface into account.The FEM calculating model is establishing basing on the correlation of groundwork, embankment and road surface, then I analyze the mutual effects and mechanism of them, finally, I sum up and put forward the technical controlling measures for road widening projects, and validate them in the test sections of two roads.The analyzing FEM software is 2D-σ, the test sections of two roads are Jin-Yang road in Tong Chuan city, An-Ping road in An Kang city, Shan Xi Province.This paper can be thought as a summing-up production in some aspects, basing on which, I analyze and demonstrate those theories, and point out the important common problems in widening roads, in the same time, I put forward some concrete treatments.This paper can also be thought as the theoretic bases and the guidance of the "old and new embankment widening" projects in some degree.
