This thesis is a tentative study of a familiar question------planedeformation in the curved girder bridge and the adjustment to the disposal of its bearings system. Temperature load and centrifugal effect upon curved girder bridges in different positioning of bearings are analyzed through precise calculation on the basis of some practical projects as well as some long-term inspecting data and results. The emphasis will be given to the influence upon the temperature horizontal force, slippage, girder displacement and support reaction of the curved girder bridges through the analysis of the even temperature, vertical temperature grads and transverse linear temperature difference. After careful study of the deformation rules and force enduring characteristics of the curved girder bridges in the three different temperature loads, a conclusion about the bearing friction index is put forward. Then, centrifugal effect is surveyed and, subsequently, the way of calculating it is proposed. At length, the thesis provides the means of positioning the bearings and measures to adjust them in different construction seasons in hope of giving some reference for the design of the curved girder bridges and some practical projects the like.
