With the development of numerical control technology, the emergence of all kind of motion controllers provides great convenience for robotics, numerical control machine tools to control motion, and in numerical control systems, the key factor to effect the syetem performance is servo control card; However, the controller's price existing in the current market is too expensive. Therefore, the development and research of a controller to take full advantage of the rich software and hardware platform, cheap price, interoperability, openness and real-time high movement controls for the development of small and medium numerical system is of great significance.Hardware framework of system is developed based on the isa bus of IPC, which including PID control, 12_bit DAC conversion, sub-frequency, time interrupt, pulse receiving and warning circuit. In the field of industrial control, encountering for visiting specific hardware port directly in the Windows environment;However, because of Windows protection mechanisms, had to visit the system resources through bottom-driven approach.Therefore, in this system, a port driver was be designed, achieved high-precision timing by making use of IRQ9 interrupt and designed a WDM model device driver for the realization of real-time position of the servo control by DriverWorks, and thus resolved the key issues developing numerical control systems in Windows environment. WDM made structure of driver more clear, that means the design of device driver become more convenient and stability. At the same time, designed a PID controller, PID control arithmetic is designed, parameters of control system are adjusted online, experiment is researched and the results is analyzed. Experimental results show that designing the device driver along with PID arithmetic realized high-precision timing and controlled the position of high-precision servo electromotor in the Windows platform.
