When the mechanical property of concrete after fire is considered, temperature is the unique considered factor;the undergoing time is commonly ignored. The objective of this paper is educing the relation between the mechanical performance of concrete material after fire and the temperature & the undergoing time as well as the constitutive equations by a compression and cleave test of the concrete test blocks undergoing variable temperatures and times. In this paper the studies include:1. Based on a general review on the achievements obtained by foreign and native researchers, thermal and mechanical properties of normal concrete are presented.2. The test blocks are heated in an electric furnace. When the surface as well as the inner temperature reaches the setting value, keep the blocks in the furnace for variable periods. The compression and cleave test of the concrete test blocks are carried out.3. Through the analysis of the test data, the relation between the mechanical performance of concrete material and the temperature & the undergoing time is educed, as well as the constitutive equations.4. The time-temperature equivalence principle verified on rock creep is imported to search theoretic gist for the relation between the mechanical performance of concrete material after fire and the temperature and the undergoing time.
