The mixing cement-soil wall is a new technology developed in recent years,which can be used in reinforcement and seepage prevention of embankments and hasbeen applied to the embankment engineerings of Duliujianhe River,YongdingxinheRiver and so on.It is very difficult to control the construction quality of the walls because ofcomplex soil properties and construction technology. The drill hole sampling, as acurrent method detecting the wall quality, does not reflect actual quality state of walls.In order to solve the problem, the author studies the engineering properties of thecement-soil and develops a quantitative non-destructive detecting model of seepageprevention walls, which establishes the foundation for developing a new technologyof the non-destructive detection of seepage prevention walls.First, through a lot of tests in the laboratory and in the field, find out the relationsbetween the strength and velocity, supply the foundation for the harmless survey;through the scientific research, find out the Rayleigh wave's characters in thesoil-cement-wall, supply the scientific foundation and laboratory support for theharmless survey in the soil-cement-wall;through the applying of SASW (SpectralAnalysis of Surface Wave) in the soil-cement-wall, find out the characteristic ofharmless survey in the soil-cement and give out the effective conditions of SASW'sapplying in the soil-cement-wall.Through a lot of laboratory tests and theory researches, we can get the results:The relation between the shear velocity and compressive strength is better,Neural-network model not only can include various effective factors, but also has highforecasting accuracy, it is a good method and will have broad prospect of applicationin the geotectonic engineering harmless survey. According to the condition ofboundary, the deep-mixing wall can be simplified as plane-stress, plane-strain andelastic restriction. Rayleigh wave's velocities are almost the same in the threeconditions as in the unlimited dimension medium, the difference is little and can beignored in the engineering. and check out the result by the model-test in laboratory,provide the scientific testimony for the Rayleigh wave's applying in limiteddimension medium. SASW is a good method in harmless survey and can get goodresult in soil-cement-wall.
