With the development of the power and electronic technology, the harmonic problem from the power and electronic devices have a potential threaten to the safety, stability and economical operation and a very bad influence to the electrical environment around. The source of the harmonic wave in the power system mainly comes from all kinds of nonlinear devices.The efficiency of the devices which are used to generate, transmit, and consume the electricity are reduced and the normal operation of variety of power devices are influenced by the harmonic wave which will cause to part parallel and serial resonance. So it is a very important measure to ensure the quality of the electrical energy that the power of the harmonic wave is reduced into an allowed scale.The article investigated and analyzed the no-line loads in the ChangGang company's electric power supply system.Analyzed and studies the examination reports of some circuits. Summarized the present situations of the electric power supply system in the ChangGang company.We should test the harmonic wave before manage it. In the course of testing the harmonic wave, signal processing technology is a key one, which has lots of applications. In the power system of the ChangGang company, to polluting by the wave in harmony that the electric arc furnace and power electronic device produce mainly, adopt digital signal processing algorithm of 64-piont 2-base Fast Fourier Ttransform (FFT) to the signal that is gathered. The article according to the algorithm, we choose the Digital Signal Proceessing(DSP) chip TMS320C4510 as the key signal processing platform has data arithmetic unit integrated the fast hardware multiplier inside, Harvard structure, operation pipeline, special DSP order, fast ordering period and so on. We select TLC320AD50C and LMC660 to implement the data collecting, data managing, A/D converting and result outputting and so on.In the course of research, the algorithm programs are developed, debugged and downloaded, then simulated and operated in the computer and experimental board by the CCS. We complete the analysis to the harmonic signal, and the correctness of the result is proved by the wave testing, which can be used to do the harmonic analysis of the power system.
