Research Of Intelligent Testing Equipment Of Working Character Of Fuel Pump Valve

Nowadays, the testing method of the on-off character of the fuel pump valve is still following the traditional way: manual or half automatic control which was invested in 60 or 70 years of last century. The testing system is very complicated, can hardly meet the requirements of modern manufacturing. The testing method has low precision, high human workload, poor efficiency, can't do the testing work well.In allusion to the disadvantages of the traditional testing method, we research the development of the fuel pump valve testing technology, analyze the working character of fuel pump valve in theory and practice, and designed a online testing system of fuel pump valve on-off character according to the project of the fuel pump assembly line of a automotive component manufacturer. We use gas to replace liquid in this testing system, and already applied a national invention patent for it, the patent number is 200510018668.X. This new-style intelligent work charactor testing device for furl pump valve has high testing efficiency, low error. It can detect not only the static performance of the fuel pump valve, but also the dynamic performance, So it's suitable to use in the online detection of the fuel pump assembly line. And this method will conquer the disadvantage of the traditional testing method radically and predominate the valve's working charactor and state better.This paper generally did the academic research and work listed bellow.(1)Research the development of automotive fuel supply system, analyze the market perspective and necessity of the intelligent testing system for the fuel pump.(2)Comprehand the fuel pump system thoroughly, including the main component and work theory of electronic injection system, the role that the fuel pump playes in the electronic injection system, the construction and work charactor of oil supply pump.(3)Put forward the blue print of the intelligent detecting device of fuel pump valve working charactor according to the capability request and detecting method of the single-direction valve and flooding valve.(4)Invent the new detecting method using gas to replace oil based on the analyse of the disadvantage of traditional method.(5)Do the research and discuss in mechanical part, gaseous transmission part, circuit part and software part.With the fast development of computer technology, more and more advantageshas shown in the utilize of computer technology in hydraulic detecting technology, like high prescion, high speed and low workload. The research of intelligent online testing technology inaugurated a new development space for the testing technology of fuel pump valve. Accordign to the literature searches and the result of serches when applied the patent, thers is no research of this new kind of testing device has been done in our country. So the academic research and application of the intelligent testing device of fuel pump valve working charactor has some academic significance, broad application prespective and huge economical value.
