With the rapid development of the large-scale traffic tunnel in the city, the explosion accident in tunnel is increasing because of the spread of terrorism and accident. A fierce explosion occurring in a large-scale traffic tunnel in the city usually causes severe damage to the tunnel lining, the surrounding soil and even some structures on the ground adjacent to the tunnel. And the lives near the tunnel also will be menaced by the threat of explosion. Based on the Wuhan Yangtze River tunnel, in order to realize the laws for the dynamic responses of tunnel lining in explosion loadings from the accident and then to probe into the damage of tunnel lining in explosion loadings, a systematical numerical simulation study on the dynamic responses and damage for tunnel lining in contact explosion and non-contact explosion loadings is performed in this dissertation, and the primary innovative work and achievements are as follows.(1) Introducing the engineering characteristic of the Wuhan Yangtze River tunnel and the explosion accidents in the existent tunnels in the world, analyzing the theory study states about dynamic response in tunnel, realizing the basic conception and theory on explosion, and summarizing present some problems of explosion wave, dynamic response on reinforced concrete and structure damage, so main emphasis and goal of this text are put forward.(2) The three-dimensional model is set up by using ANSYS, and program LS-DYNA3D is used to calculate. Using ALE algorithm and the JWL state equation for the product of explosion, the model, dynamic responses and damage for tunnel lining in contact explosion and non-contact explosion loadings have been studied.(3) The displacement, velocity and acceleration in the shield tunnel bottom, coping and sidewall are analyzed in linear, contact and non-contact TNT explosion loadings. The distortion rules of the shield tunnel and the fierce dynamic response rule of shield tunnel lining in the different explosion loadings are found. The movement rules and distribution of Mises stress of shield tunnel bottom, coping and sidewall in the contact and non-contact explosion loading are probed into.(4) The propagation rules of explosion wave is caused by linear, contact and non-contact TNT explosion loadings in the shield tunnel, and the feature of explosion energy dissipation for shield tunnel lining is studied by numerical model. The most vulnerable situation and the damagerules in shield tunnel are found in contact and non-contact explosion loadings by the propagation rules of explosion wave, the feature of energy dissipation and the damage pictures of the tunnel lining.The above work both lay a foundation for the in-depth academic research and provide some important and profitable references for the engineering practices in the Wuhan Yangtze River tunnel.
