The Research Of Load Characteristics Affecting The Mid-long Term Voltage Stability

During the last decades, a series of blackouts relating to the voltage problem havehappened in the whole world. The mechanism of these accidents is so complicated thatthe engineers of power system could not draw a consistent conclusion both in theoreticand in engineering aspects. Among many factors affecting the mid-long term voltagestability, load characteristic is the most active and direct one. It determines the process ofthe voltage stability and the voltage collapse to a great extent.Based on Eurostag, many researches about mid-long term simulation in whichpeople are interested have been done. In summary, the thesis mainly includes thefollowing contests: Analyze the simultaneous action of OLTC and its characteristic ofmaking loads change in a consistent way. Analyze the effects of dynamic load recoverycharacteristics on mid-long term voltage stabilization. Analyze the nonlinear andvariable structure characteristic of the load mid-long term dynamic process and itsmodeling. This thesis also analyzes the problem of reactive reserve in power system, andstudies the mechanism of voltage collapse.
