The Research Of Multi-Functions Voltage Quality Conditioner

The series type compensator for power quality presented in this paper is calledMulti-Functions Voltage Quality Conditioner –MVQC. Principle of operation and eachconstituent of the device are expounded scientifically. Control strategy and kinds of functionsare researched and achieved. Through the medium of analysis and study, the main circuit ofMVQC adopts PWM rectifier to provide DC voltage, which is under the condition that the ACinput is extracted from the source side. DQ analyzing method based on general instantaneousreactive power theory is adopted in the measurement of power quality. High frequencyreversible rectifier based energy extraction is proposed and control strategy is researched.Emulate results verified the correction and validity of presented control strategy andalgorithm. Optimized topology and parameter are supplied for the research and exploitation ofphysical model.
