The Application Of Data Mining In Electric Benchmarking

With the development of Data Mining, Data Mining has been used in all aspectsof life. The central of this thesis is the application of Data Mining in electricbenchmarking.First, benchmarking is introduced briefly,mostly includes the domestic andforeign applications of benchmarking, especially the applications in electricindustry. Then, the methods of two applications are researched weightily, whichthe clustering techniques, including the K-means method and hierarchical method,apply on the classification of the power enterprises and the establishment of theenterprise benchmark. Through the comprehensive index example, the feasibilityand validity of this method is proved.
