With the development of the electric industry ,a circuit breaker on the power supply and the circuit protection is more and more important. It is required that the circuit breaker has enough short circuit breaking capacity and some intelligent functions. The circuit breaker can achieve selective protection and the powersupply safety. With the developent of the microprocessor, An intelligent circuit breaker occurs, which has better functions than a traditional circuit breaker. The intelligent synchro circuit breaker is the one type of intelligent circuit breakers. It can break the malfunction at the time when the value of short-circuit is zero when power system comes forth the short circuit malfunction. Intelligent synchro circuit breaker enhances the breaking capacity, and has a huge applied foreground.The controller of an intelligent circuit breaker is a central unit for the intelligent circuit breaker. It becames one of the main symbols which is used to judge the advancement of the circuit breaker. In this paper, we research and design the controller of the intelligent synchro circuit breaker.In the paper, firstly, we introduce the various short circuit of the power system, and establish the mathematic model of the short circuit. And we analyse traditional Frourier algorithm , research it in-depthly and improve on it, and find the method in which we can calculate everyparameters of the short circuit and the time when the value of short circuit is zero. Secondly, we design the hardware and software system of the controller. It can detect, gather, analyse and dispose signal, give an alarm, show info and so on. At last , the result of emulation showsthe accuracy and feasibility of arithmetic we improve on.
