Generators and transformers are one of the most important parts of electric power system, therefore, their operations will influence many aspects of the electric power system, such as normal operation of electric power system, improvement of electrical energy quality, and etc.Along with people's unceasing pursuit of safer operation of electric power system, the criteria of relay protection installation becomes higher. Meanwhile, the development of microprocessors and electronic technology provides a powerful support to achieve advanced relay protection installations. Therefore, it is significant to develop a set of intelligent digital relay protection installations.This paper designs a set of generator protection module based on TMS320F240. The paper also presents the circuits of all parts. At the end, the algorithm of windowed interpolation FFT is given.In the first chapter, the background of the project is described. The development of replay protection is discussed in detail in the following section. The development of algorithm of replay protection is also reviewed.In the second chapter, the principle of each type of protection and their functional block diagrams are introduced. The Hardware design of the system is introduced in the third chapter. The power supply of the module is also presented in this chapter.To improve the measuring precision of interharmonics in electric power system, an interharmonics estimation based on interpolation FFT algorithm is proposed. The estimation algorithm based on four-item window for the interharmonics parameters is given in the fourth chapter.In the fifth chapter, the design of software part is introducedThe paper is summarized at the end.
