The flow state in bifurcations is very complex as one of important problems of hydromechanics. It covers many technical and biomedical applications. Many papers have been written about cases of bifurcation of pipes, vessels, etc., but still it is not completely and clearly understood. This report deals mainly with the numerical modelling of fluid flow in bifurcations, but several experiments have been prepared to substantiate numerical solutions. The aim of this paper is to compare the numerical solution with experimental data. Software "Fluent" has been used for solving velocity vector fields and pressure distribution. Finally, Visual Basic was also used to conduct actual calculations of coefficient of bifurcation losses. The significance of the investigation is to determine the coefficient of bifurcation losses. Further work on the correlation of the coefficient of bifurcation losses using "Fluent" program, another area of study could be pursued on the Visual Basic program, by computing every angle of bifurcation needs to be done.
