At present, amount of the concentrative seepageof the reservoir is normally estimated by the changes of the reservoir level or by arranging the measuring weirs, which can't gain the seepage amount in the water leakage passage, thus it is very important to seek out a method which can calculate the flow quality-value of the the seepage of the reservoir in numerical quantities.Many problems, such as water leakage of reservoir, seepage by-pass the dam and the base of dam seepage in the hydro-engineerings, can be considered as the problems of groundwater seepage to research, and another principal point closing to the research of the groundwater seepage problems is the solute migration rules in the groundwater. Tracer test, as an efficient technology to control the migratory process, establish prognostic control, and design remedial measures in the research of the solute migration rules in the groundwater, plays an important part in all kinds of the available dam-seepage acquisition techniques due to this kind of technology can make head or tail of the process and distribution of the groundwater motions. Base on such theory, the concentrative leakage problem of the dam was studied by the open-air tracing experiment. Main jobs include following five parts:Fristly, we analysis and look back the research actuality at home and abroad, such as basic theory of the seepage flow, the groundwater motions laws in the fractured rock mass, the groundwater resolute migration modeling, and the tracing experiments. Then research direction and object of this paper have been given. Secondly, just the key point of this paper is to research the concentrative groundwater seepage analysis model, we establish the conceptual model of the concentrative leakage path and the calculate method of some parameter, such as amount of seepage, groundwater flow velocity, coefficient of dispersion, based on the solute-travel theory. In the same time, we enhance and optimize the analytic solution, and compile the calculator program to make the process of solving the parameters more simple and convenient.Thirdly, five basic elements have been adduced and expanded in detail based on generalizing the predecessors' research-results. Then, we induce the using purports of the fluorescence instrument of the Turner Designs 10-AU-005-CE and the operational work points of the tracing experiment by using the fluorescers. And then, we make a study of conditions of the tracer concentration curves, which contains the mechanization analyzing for the multimodal and bimodality phenomenons, and the concentration curves influence effects when the water level has been changed. At last, we cite an engineering example to carry integrated dissections. Fourthly, research findings of this paper have been applied to the actual large dam seepage detection engineering of Xiaolangdi dam area to carry out the large dam seepage analysis and calculation.Finally, we generalize the fall shorts and the outstanding problems of this paper, and make an offer of the prospecting.
