With the development of the national economy and the increase of the traffic, a new traffic facility urban rail transportation as, is used more and more widely. The next few years will become the significant time of the development of the urban rail transportation. In domestic the research of its power supply system is still in the start phase.Urban rail power supply system simulation can be divided into two parts in framework: train performance simulator and electric network simulator. The train performances simulator simulates the operation of a single vehicle on a given route. While the electrical network simulator simulates the electrical network with the operation of several vehicles on the entire system.According to the urban rail transportation operational characteristic, this paper builds the model of traction calculation. A new traction strategy was put forward. The behavior of the train was determined by the method of constituting the form of traction and brake speed- situation, and the stop process of the train was analyzed. The traction simulation program was designed;the reliability and the practicability were validated through the example.The mathematic models of the 12-pulse uncontrolled bridge rectifiers which work in different load current and reactor factor are analyzed and concluded in the paper. The operations of the 12-pulse uncontrolled bridge rectifiers with and without IPT are simulated by Matlab/Simulink. According to the power supply caculation in dc side, a new model and its algorithm are put forward, Which is proved by the example. The algorithm of the AC/DC load flow is also provided in this paper.
