This paper discusses the capabilities and properties of carbon-fibre and the application of which in construction emergency reparation. It makes mainly analysis on both the physical and the chemical properties according to the forming process of carbon-fibre;in which a preliminary study is made on the basic principle of carbon-fibre strengthening the concrete structure, the strengthening on anti-bending of carbon-fibre, the counting on anti-cutting strengthening, the analysis on strengthened pillar and its capability under force pressure. The paper puts forward a new calculating methods, estimating-arithmetic, which aiming to resolve the problems which mainly are the trivial formulas used on anti-force-pressure capacity and the difficulties on the parameter confirmation represented in the 《 the technology regulations on carbon-fibre material using to reinforce and repair concrete construction》. (CECS 146:2003) . It proves the veracity, feasibility, and security of the estimating-arithmetic method and develops the construction technology to a comparatively perfect level, and resolves the shortages in technology and construction requirements. It also discusses the social economical significance, applicability, and durability of carbon-fibre strengthening functions on construction. On the base of construction practice, it fully analyzes the strengthening function of carbon fiber on the material capability, strengthening methods and construction technology .The study shows that the strengthening-function of carbon-fibre will have extensive perspective on construction emergency reparation, housing building and bridge engineering.On the whole, the carbon-fibre reparation technology as a kind of high-tech product is a new-developed technology and is attracting more and more attention for its excellent force capability, chemical stability, convenient and efficient function in using. Its value on construction is huge.
