Researches On Preserving And Utilize Of Qijiang Town

While modern society is developing, the metabolism of towns space is inevitable. But those towns and buildings which contain historical culture background are the history background which makes us get familiar with the towns and the segments of previous society. They form the living condition including traditional space and sites provide us a strong sense of belonging.Traditional towns.Today, being one kind of desperate historical spaces and cultural landscape sources, the protection of its style and features and its substantial development have great significance and values in today's construction of towns, and also have significance in preserving cultural pluralism, inheriting and developing the regional style and features.Based on adequate of field survey, mapping and research, this paper concludes the cause of formation, the whole character and the style trait within this specific area range of Qijiang town. Through material example research, author concluded idea and countermeasure of protection, development and use in allusion to Qijiang's History and Culture Preservation Districts. Author considers that on this issue, on the question of protection and using of the traditional towns, absorbing its historical spacial context, using substantial development thoughts, combine today's towns construction with its own cultural history and its natural ecological environments, enable the traditional towns reflecting the regional ,social, cultural and economical features, and also satisfying modern people's living, working and playing ways, the way to let today's planning and constructions of traditional towns being an entirety of nature, society, economic and technique should be our destination.planning and constructing with these principles and thoughs, the valuable sources of traditional towns must make more contributions to re-creation of regional culture and modern life. This is the final purpose of the research of this thesis.
